The town of Taormina becomes the cinematic stage for the Taormina Film Fest at the ancient Greek Theatre, a prestigious nine-day event that bridges Italian and international filmmaking. Returning June 10–14, 2025, the festival offers premieres, masterclasses, and the iconic Nastro d’Argento awards in one of the world’s most beautiful outdoor cinemas.
Each evening, new title premieres grace the Teatro Antico, while morning sessions and retrospectives unfold in the Palazzo dei Congressi and Casa del Cinema. The 71st edition spotlights women in cinema, with jurist President Da’Vine Joy Randolph joined by costume designer Sandy Powell and others.
