Later head over to the Benedictine Abbey of Monte Cassino, the medieval village of Caserta Vecchia and the Roman Amphitheater in Capua before stopping for a traditional lunch in a family restaurant.

An insight into ancient Roman life

With the help of an expert local guide, you will visit the Archaeological Park of Ercolano. The Roman city of Ercolano, destroyed and buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, was brought back to the chronicles of history in the eighteenth century. You will visit the archeological UNESCO ssite of Pompeii, boasting a unique set of civil and private buildings, monuments, sculptures, paintings and mosaics.  Your private tour will continue towards Oplontis, an archaeological site that offers the most significant monumental evidence of the Pompeian area. After lunch in  a typical local restaurant, visit an archaeological museum in Boscoreale that offers an insight into ancient Roman life, as well as nature during this period.

In the evening your driver will take you onwards to Sorrento to settle in to your 5 star hotel in the city centre.

Road trip visiting Positano, Amalfi and Ravello

We will drive along the scenic Amalfi coast road, straight to Positano where we will make the first stop to let you discover this little pearl overlooking the clear blue water and taking photos of this picture perfect boutique village.

We will stop for lunch in a great family run restaurant and indulge in a lovely meal, while enjoying stunning sea views. After lunch, continue to Amalfi, where you will enjoy walking along the typical narrow streets of the historic centre and a private tour of Amalfi. End the Amalfi Coast visit in Ravello, a magic land, that inspired many of Wagner’s works. Finally, we will depart from Ravello and take you back to your hotel.

After one last pastry and capuccino it will be with a heavy heart that this tour comes to an end. Your driver will collect you from your hotel and take your to Naples Airport to continue on your journey or head on home.
